A Successful Community Soup Kitchen: More Than 200 Meals Distributed
It was an unforgettable moment of sharing and generosity! The Community Services Department and Women’s Ministries (WM) joined forces this afternoon to assist the many street children in need. The event took place just beside the Union headquarters, under the peaceful shade of the trees that often serve as shelter for these vulnerable young people.
The beneficiaries enjoyed delicious and nutritious meals consisting of chicken, fish, cassava sticks, corn fritters, soy kebabs, and eggs, all accompanied by bottles of fresh drinking water.

An Inspiring Partnership for a Tangible Impact
The organization of this initiative was made possible through the exemplary collaboration of several people committed to community service. Pastor Meting Jean Pourrat, Director of Community Services, and Mama Fezeu Mélanie, Director of Women’s Ministries, played a central role in coordinating the event.
They were joined by other dedicated women from the mission, including Mama Nganoumbou Marie Noel, Women’s Ministries Director of the Central and South Federation, and Mama Mouangue Béatrice, Women’s Ministries Director of the Mbam-Sanaga Federation.
Strong Institutional Commitment
The President, Executive Secretary, and Treasurer of the Union also took an active part in ensuring the success of the initiative. Their support, together with that of Mama Same Emah, Director of Children’s Ministries, helped ensure smooth and effective organization.
An Example of Solidarity and Commitment
This initiative perfectly illustrates the values of solidarity and mutual support cherished by our community. It demonstrates the Church members’ desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of the most vulnerable. WAD IMPACT 2025 is not simply a charitable activity; it is a call to deeper commitment to making a lasting impact in our communities.
May this community soup kitchen be the beginning of many more initiatives in support of those who need it most!
