SPIRITUAL CARAVAN OF EXAMINATIONS: THE PUPILS PUT GOD FIRST.
The Adventist High School of Yaoundé leads its pupils on the paths of wisdom trough a special program from the 28th of March to the 2nd of April 2016. The President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cameroon, Pastor Assembe Valère presided over a special worship of prayers in Djoungolo 2 Temple of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Few days from the beginning of the 3rd quarters that will crown the academic year 2015-2016, and to some weeks to the final examinations as recommended, Laurent Seyep, a lecturer of Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre, launched this initiative which is titled: “SPIRITUAL CARAVAN OF EXAMINATIONS.” The program which is to start from the 28th of March will end on the 2nd of April 2016 with a spiritual retreat on Friday 1st April, a rally for peace in Cameroon and a donation of items in the General Hospital of Yaoundé.
The main focus of this program launched by Pastor Assembe, is to commit all the candidates of the Seventh-day Adventist High School in God’s care. Focusing his admonition on the Holy Book from Joshua 1: 8 and the example of Joseph, the son of Jacob, the Pastor introduced to the thousands of pupils that were presents, the secret of “the true success.” The real success is the one we achieve with God as our anchor and is not only intellectual, but also the one that is taking into consideration all aspects of our lives. The Pastor invited the pupils to put aside all distractions to face their studies in order to perform well in their various examinations at the end of the academic school year with good results.
The pupils from the High school in recognition of what happened, offered some gifts to the three officials that came for the program, one to Pastor Assembe, President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cameroon, Pastor Bedere Daldava and Elder Abada Bekolo.
