WEST-CENTRAL AFRICA DIVISION: RE-ORDINATION SERVICE.
RE-ORDINATION DAY OF THE WEST-CENTRAL AFRICA DIVISION AND BETHEL CHURCH.
On Saturday 26th of March 2016, all the workers of the West-Central Africa Division had a special Sabbath day with their leaders. They set aside a week in seeking for the Lord by prayers and supplications, and most especially Wednesday 23rd of March 2016 being a special day, all fasted and prayed to God to revisit the Division and give to each worker His Spirit for the achievement of the great commission.
The week from the 20th to the 26th of March 2016 had been a special week for all the workers of the West-Central Africa Division. In fact during that week, all administrators, directors and employees were invited to have a special day of prayers and fasting each seeking for the face of the Lord. For some this day was selected according to their birthday whereas some selected any other day. This spiritual exercise had been a success particularly when the leaders and all the workers chose Wednesday as a common day of prayers and fasting. On that Wednesday 23rd of March 2016, day set aside by all, fervent prayers were lifted up to the Lord as recognition and thanks giving service to God the Creator. At 3 P.M. all on that day gathered in the devotional room and lifted up their voices for the privilege they have to be members of the family of the heavenly kingdom and all this in prelude of the ceremony of the re-ordination of the offices of the Division.
The Sabbath 26th of March 2016 had been a rich and a blessed day because of the program that was made, and one could feel the joy that was on the faces of both leaders and participants. All commences by the Sabbath School’s program with the involvement of all church members. For this occasion, the church was divided in to tree major groups for the lesson study. The first class led by Mrs. Sessou Nike and brother Coulibaly for those who speak English, the next one by Elder Gogbeu and Elder Bello for those who speak French and finally, sister Ida and Pastor Same Vincent took care of that of the visitors.
It was exactly 10h20 when Pastor Bindas put an end to this first segment of the Sabbath program saying the final prayer. And after all this, the Bethel church choir entered the church followed by the officers of the day. We also noted on that day that one precious soul gave her life to the Lord and was baptized by the church Pastor.
The sermon was said by Pastor Ewoo Andrews and the Scripture reading was selected from the first Epistle of John 3: 7-18 read by Pastor Same Vincent. In his message titled: “Do this in remembrance of me” Pastor Ewoo not only insisted on the importance and the significance of the Holy Communion, but he also emphasized on why all Christians should partake in that ceremony. Of course, the worship on that day ended up by the Holy Communion service with the participation of all church members that came for the occasion.
In the afternoon of this Sabbath day, 26th of March 2016 at 4 P.M., Pastor Ewoo Andrews, Bethel Church Pastor conducted a double ceremony of re-ordination, that of the Bethel church and of course that of the West-Central Africa Division offices. One could see by his side all the administrators, Pastor Elie Weick Dido, the President of the Division, Pastor Kingsley Anonaba, the Executive Secretary, and Elder Emmanuel Manu, the Treasurer but also Pastor Bindas Aruna one of the Vice-Presidents in charge of Family life and Special Needs and all Directors. All this ceremony ended up by the lightening of candles, symbol of the presence of the Holy Spirit right from the temple into the Division’s offices and to bring all things to the end, Pastor Ewoo Andrews said the final prayer.
