For the first time, the West-Central Africa Division held a press conference on August 26, 2015 which brought together about fifty people including 15 journalists, among them 4 radio journalists, 2 journalists from the television and 10 print media journalists.A press folder was prepared for the meeting. It presents the Church, its organization, the elections, the statistics in the world and in Africa, the Adventist World Radio, and Hope Channel.
All media in Côte d’Ivoire have received this folder. Henceforth, people know who Adventists are because they have official information about the Church.
The Communication Director of the Conference said the press conference was a great success and that it is necessary to take up again such activities.
