Communication, Publics Affairs and Religious Liberty Department Advisory Lomé, Togo.
The Eastern Sahel Union Mission has just ended its combined Advisories on Public Affairs and Religious Liberty from the 17th to the 18th of January 2017, and that of Communication from the 19th to the 20th January, 2017 in Lomé, Togo.
These advisories recorded the participation of seven delegates from the Côte d’Ivoire and Togo Conferences, and the Missions of Burkina Faso and Benin Republic. The theme of these gatherings was “Restore our prestige through success” and
Pastor Koch, communication and Parl Director of the West-Central Africa Division was the guest speaker. According to Pastor Djossou Simon, Executive Secretary of the Eastern Sahel Union Mission” the program came at the right time because it will help our Union to open a new page in order to present to the populations and authorities of the countries of the Union a good image of the Church”.
Pastor Emmanuel Kra, Parl and Communication Director of the Union and main organizer of the Advisories said that “the goals that we have set to ourselves here will truly enhance the image of our Church within our Union territory”.
For the Director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty, Elder Zian from the Côte d’Ivoire Conference, impressed by the content of the program said that “it is necessary to multiply such meetings of exchange, training and refresher because they procure a lot of benefits.”
On Saturday 21st, day of the celebration of Religious Liberty, was marked by a divine service that took place in Lomé prison with brother Ama Bruno incarcerated almost 5 years. Being the preacher of the day, Pastor Koch comforted on behalf of the Division brother Bruno and signified him how all are praying for his soon liberation.
