2010 WAD YEAR END COUNCIL
134 delegates from the 22 countries of the West Central Africa Division met at the premises of the Division in Abidjan from October 22nd to 27th 2010. This meeting was in the scope of the year end council under the theme ‘Revival for Mission’. That council was an exception because not only it was the first of the quinquenium but also because it has the mission to appoint new union and institutional and departmental leaders. In his opening speech, the West Central Africa President Pastor Gilbert Wari insisted on the need for renewal and reformation in our Division. To him, this quinquenium should break up with the past wrong habits. He called each delegate to feely bring his contribution for success of that meeting. In the same way, Pastor Ola, NWNU, in his devotion on October 26th insisted on the five keys needed for a genuine revival: sacrifice, commitment, trust, repentance and love. The council was blessed with the presence of authorities from the General Conference; pastor Pardon Mwanza, J. Thomas and R. Wahlen
The programme of the session which started on october 22nd put a special emphasis on the evangelistic programme « Win One each one ».
At the end of this meeting some people were appointed.
